Airtasker has appointed Noelle Kim to the position of chief marketing officer (CMO) to lead the company’s rapid ramp up in global marketing investment.

Kim’s appointment, which follows a successful IPO in March, strengthens the company’s leadership bench and sets Airtasker up for further growth and expansion in Australia, UK and the US.

“We’re super excited to have Noelle join the Airtasker team," Airtasker co-founder and CEO Tim Fung says.

"As a truly seasoned marketer with a strong commercial mindset, and ability to design and execute impactful global campaigns, she will be a valuable addition to our executive leadership team as we move into the next phase of Airtasker’s growth."

Kim brings a wealth of experience, strong business acumen and international perspective garnered over two decades across Australia and the US.

She joins Airtasker from Facebook, where she rose to head of marketing (APAC) for Facebook, Instagram and Whatsapp.

In her new role, she will oversee the expansion and management of Airtasker’s growth and marketing teams, and will work closely with Tim Fung to grow the Airtasker brand in the US and UK markets.

“I’m thrilled to join Airtasker at such a pivotal moment for the business. As CMO, my role is to be the voice of our Taskers and Posters and to truly understand the value Airtasker brings to both sides of the marketplace, so we can connect with our customers with the right message at the right time, and inspire them to get more done," Kim says.

“I’ve always said I’m a business person first and a marketer second, and that’s the perspective I’ll bring to the role; prioritising business value whilst embedding a culture of experimentation, innovation and creativity.

"In three to five years, regardless of what country you’re in, I want Airtasker to be a global household name and to be top of mind when you think of local services or need a problem solved.”
