Deloitte Digital has been appointed creative agency for energy retailer and generator EnergyAustralia following a competitive pitch.

Cummins&Partners in September announced it was parting ways with Energy Australia.

That agency's relationship with EnergyAustralia was noted in the F-List 2022 of more than 230 agencies working with the fossil fuel industry.

Initiative was earlier this month appointed EnergyAustralia's media agency, following a competitive pitch.

As the energy industry faces on the challenges of the renewables transition, Deloitte Digital will work with EnergyAustralia as it leads and accelerates the clean energy transformation.

EnergyAustralia chief customer officer, Mark Brownfield said: “Deloitte Digital’s balance of strategy, creativity and technology makes them the ideal partner to move forward with.

"Not only will they help us deliver exceptional brand building creative narratives, but their understanding of customer experience delivery can help us design the future of energy and deliver it for our customers.”

Adrian Mills, partner – creative, brand and advertising at Deloitte Digital: “As we progress through the next decade of the energy market transition, the industry, community, and customer will benefit from strong leadership.

"We’re here to help EnergyAustralia play that role, to take the next step as a brand, and demystify the industry for Australia’s energy customers. We absolutely share EnergyAustralia’s purpose.”
