Independent media agency Customedia has won the paid media account of Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) after a competitive tender for the Asia-Pacific region.

Toby Roderick, senior partner at Customedia, said the agency is thrilled to be working with NCL again.

“We forged a strong working relationship with NCL from 2016 and through the tumultuous Covid period to 2022 and being able to further build on this partnership after a short gap is the best news possible going into 2024," Roderick said.

“The increased remit across Asia-Pacific is a challenge we are looking forward to, and with the existing responsibilities across NCL’s sister brands, Oceania and Regent Seven Seas, our goal will be to tell the NCL Brand story and highlight these wonderful holiday experiences with a focus on data, creativity and a strong value proposition."

Michelle Wiederman, marketing director Asia Pacific at NCL, said the company was looking for an agency that not only understood the category but is able to create and implement bespoke media strategies for the audience profile.

“Their knowledge of our customers combined with their focus on service meant that they were the ideal fit for the NCL brand," Wiederman said.

Norwegian Cruise Line has a fleet of 19 contemporary ships sail to 450 of the world's most desirable destinations.
