Cummins&Partners has made two new strategy appointments, including one for its new Sydney office.

Lorriane Tabet-Curtis has joined as planning director of the agency's Sydney branch, moving from her previous role at JWT London as global planning director.

Her appointment follows the launch of Cummins&Partner's Sydney office, which was announced by AdNews in October last year. The office's opening client is Vodafone, won by Cummins&Partners in a competitive pitch.

Tabet-Curtis previously held a role at CHI and Partners in London and has client side telecom experience both in Australia and the UK across CRM, digital, e-commerce and mobile.

Cummins&Partners has also hired Theo Erasmus as planning director in Melbourne. Erasmus joins from a role at South African digital agency Gloo as strategy director. He has held roles in both brand and digital strategy as well as an executive directive director and has worked with brands including Vodacom, Woolworths, Johnnie Walker, KFC and BMW.

Cummins&Partners global chief strategy officer Adam Ferrier said: “We’re hell bent on ensuring that strategic planning at Cummins&Partners is informed by science, data and creativity to help our clients build enduring brand platforms that drive action.”

“Theo and Lorraine are both experienced, world class operators who’ll help drive and deliver our strategic planning product for our clients. It’s rare to have this level of planning talent in Australia and we are stoked they’ve chosen to join us.”
