Bread Agency appoints six

Social media agency Bread has appointed six new bread makers to the existing team of three.

“Since the inception of Bread, our goal has always been to attract and retain the best talent. That means recruitment has been a huge priority for us and looking at this lineup of talent - it’s paid off," Bread Agency co-founder Amaury Treguer.

"We’re excited about the team we’re building and the impact their fresh perspectives and social skillsets will have on the clients we’re working with."

Talya Kaplan joins the team as content lead, having previously been creative content lead at Havas Red. With more than 10 years of experience in design and content creation, Kaplan has worked across various brands including Toyota, Nikon, NIVEA, Sunrice, Roche, Abbvie and UCB.

Katie Moon joins the team from Aruga as social creative, after a year of freelancing for multiple agencies and clients. She has more than 10 years of agency and in-house experience. Moon has led campaigns for clients across various industries including Aspen, Beko, Caravanning Queensland, Brisbane City Council, Queensland Parks and Wildlife Services, and University of Queensland.

Werner Coetzee joins the team as content creator, coming from Havas Media. Coetzee has worked across a range of brands, ranging from cosmetics, and lifestyle to food and finance, including Darrell-Lea, KitchenAid, Deliveroo, Marc Jacobs, and Rimmel London.

Carla Woodhouse joins as social media manager, having worked previously at Mamamia’s content and influencer agency SQUAD. She has worked with brands such as Amazon Prime Video, CommBank, Donut King, Campari Group, Coles, Johnson & Johnson, Google, Optus, Samsung, and Tourism Whitsundays.

Maayke Louwerens also joins as social media manager, having worked for the past two years at men’s apparel brand Johnny Bigg. Louwerens specialises in campaign management, content ideation and influencer coordination. 

Starting in early July, Scarlett Govey will join the Bread team as senior account director. Having worked in both in-house brand and agency roles, Govey has more than 10 years of experience in social media and marketing. She has worked on creating and social strategies for names including Heineken, Huawei, Hungry Jack’s, Revlon, and Toyota Financial Services.
