Barry Plant Real Estate has appointed Melbourne agency Starship to its consolidated account, replacing Hero and Mitchells after a competitive pitch.

Starship managing director Geoffrey Bowll told AdNews the agency would be responsible for creative, media buying and planning.

The creative incumbent on the account was Hero Communications, while Mitchell & Partners was the media agency.

Barry Plant Real Estate has 80 franchies across Victoria and recently expanded into Queensland.

“Barry Plant has 14% of the market,” Bowll said. “We will create a TV campaign due to run in February as well as outdoor, press and DM.”
