SYDNEY: Whybin TBWA has parted company with hot water provider Rheem ending its five year stint as the brand's advertising agency.

Whybin TBWA managing director Paul Bradbury confirmed that Rheem was informed of the split this morning. He said that the decision was not due to a conflict of interest with other business.

"We feel it best to part company and we do it on good terms. We wish Rheem all the very best in the future."

The agency has held the account since 2006, when it won the business without a pitch, from Admark.

AdNews understands that there was a breakdown in the relationship. Rheem was not available for comment at the time of writing.

Whybin TBWA this month won the $30 million NRMA account.
