SYDNEY: Pacific Brands has kicked off a review of its $13 million master media account and is also reviewing its creative agency arrangements.

Sources have informed AdNews that the owner of clothing brands including Bonds, Berlei, and Holeproof, is meeting with agencies in advance of issuing an official request for proposal (RFP) later this month.

It is understood the company is considering reducing the number of agencies it uses, to save on cost efficiencies. The group has slashed its ad spend in recent years by as much as 41%.

The media account has been handled by MediaCom for the last 10 years, while the group works with a number of advertising agencies across its range of brands. It is believed the company will draw up a shortlist of no more than four agencies to compete for the media business.
