Lexus marketer moves into driver's seat at Subaru

SYDNEY: Subaru Australia has appointed Andrew Caie, the former corporate marketing manager at Lexus Australia, as its top marketer.

Caie becomes general manager of marketing for the Japanese car marque and will report into Subaru Australia managing director Nick Senior.

In his new role, Caie will control a marketing team of 12 that includes national marketing manager Toby O'Bree.

He will take the reins on a advertising spend of $29.7 million, according to Nielsen. Creative is handled  by Leo Burnett Sydney, with media buying undertaken by Starcom MediaVest.
