DDB Sydney

The past year has seen DDB Group amass a list of major clients including Westpac, Devondale, Expedia, Ikea, Red Bull and Nudie Foods. While it did lose Gatorade and Origin Energy, it strengthened relationships with key clients including Telstra, McDonald’s, Volkswagen and Audi.

Meanwhile, the network adopted a national model, restructuring its Sydney and Melbourne offices to form DDB Australia in a bid to boost integration between the arms. The shift brought management changes, with former group Sydney managing director Chris Brown elevated to group Australia boss, while former group Melbourne managing director Andrew Little became national managing director.

Just a few weeks later, DDB revealed RAPP Melbourne had merged with boutique integrated agency Crawform Brown and would relaunch with a focus on digital, data and analytics.
