The social sphere has exploded with commentary about Samsung's latest smartphone push, which seems to promote the Galaxy SIII's ability to share a sex tape by simply bumping it against another Samsung phone.

The US ad depicts a husband getting in a cab headed for the airport. His wife sends him a video by bumping their two smartphones together, then she says suggestively, “You probably shouldn't watch it on the plane.”

Commentary on social media has blown up following the launch of the ad last week.

One person wrote on Twitter: “When is that Samsung Galaxy S3 sex tape dropping?”

Another person tweeted: “Shame on you and your sex tape commercial, Samsung.”

“Just saw that new Samsung ad with the sextape, lmao why would they make that,” said another Twitter user.

One person said: “Lol! Samsung Galaxy S3 ad exploits convenient sex-tape swapping as a feature... Didn't see that coming.”

Yet another person tweeted: “Samsung came up with an interesting way to pitch smart phones. They make it easier to make and share a sex tape.”

The ad is the latest push out of Samsung, which has been considerably increasing its marketing presence as it looks to steal market share from Apple.
