SYDNEY: ACP Magazines has revamped its management with Phil Scott rising to group publishing director across all of its consumer and custom titles, and Lynette Phillips relinquishing her role as group publisher women's lifestyle.

Phillips takes over sales across all titles as director of sales, reporting to Scott, who was previously group publisher men's interest specialist & custom titles.

The other major change sees Louise Barrett promoted to director of integrated sales & group trading for PBL Media. She was previously director of sales for ACP’s men’s interest specialist & custom and most recently PBL Media director of integrated sales [AdNews.com.au, 13 February 2009].

In the shake-up Scott takes control of some of ACP's highest circulating titles including Australian Women’s Weekly, Woman’s Day, NW and Grazia. Scott will report direct to PBL media chief executive Ian Law.

Law said, in addition to making use of Phil Scott’s broad experience across editorial and sales, a key factor behind the decision was the desire to consolidate the management of magazines in to one operating division.

He said the changes will enable ACP to operate more effectively as one integrated company, which will be of benefit to advertisers and readers.
