Saatchi & Saatchi Melbourne hires BWM’s Simon Bagnasco

Former BWM Dentsu creative Simon Bagnasco has joined Saatchi & Saatchi Melbourne as executive creative director.

He had been at the agency for just under 18 months. 

News of his departure came at the same time former BWM MD Mark Watkin exited the agency.

Bagnasco has previously held creative roles at agencies including DDB, Y&R, Publicis Mojo and Clemenger BBDO and he has won awards at major international shows including Cannes, D&AD, One Show and the Clio Awards.

Mike Spirkovski, Saatchi & Saatchi Australia chief creative officer says: “Bagnasco’s reputation speaks for itself. He’s an incredibly driven creative leader who knows how to make famous work for famous brands and we like that.”

Mark Cochrane, Saatchi & Saatchi Melbourne managing director says the hire will boost Saatchi melbourne;’s creative capabilities.

“Since opening the Melbourne office in early 2016, the agency has enjoyed incredibly fast growth and created a great body of work for our much-loved clients.
