QMS has hired Cherie Salt and Simone Donovan as group business directors, joining existing group business director Alex Morrison.

The outdoor media group has also added two account managers: Zach Grenenger, whose CV includes Monogram Media, Southern Cross Austereo and KPMG Australia; and Allira Tyrell, who previously worked at Seven West Media and Nine Entertainment.

The expansion is due to rapid growth for QMS in NSW, following the launch of the City of Sydney digital street furniture network.

Salt joins QMS with 11 years’ experience in the out of home sector, including roles at Goa Billboards, Val Morgan Outdoor and APN Outdoor. Donovan, who starts with QMS in early June, joins from TLA Worldwide and comes with over 15 years’ media sales experience with roles at Bauer, Pacific Magazines and Are Media.

QMS agency sales director for NSW, Elliot Devine, said the company has had incredible results in NSW thanks to the City of Sydney network, the ongoing growth of digital out of home, and QMS' commitment to delivering outstanding customer solutions through investment in data, technology and creative capabilities.

“The time is right to expand our NSW agency sales team and I’m delighted to welcome Cherie, Simone, Zach and Allira to QMS," said Devine.

"They are all very talented people, passionate about achieving great results for clients and are great additions to our already high performing team.”

QMS chief revenue officer, Alex Kerley, said since 2019, QMS' market share has doubled and the NSW team has played a significant part in driving that result.

"Along with our City of Sydney offering breathing new life into the Sydney market, the latest SMI results further showcase the growth we are seeing and are a clear endorsement from the market that our teams are delivering a service that is loved and appreciated," said Kerley.

“Customer service is something that we pride ourselves on, so the expansion of the NSW agency team with these key hires will ensure we can continue along our growth trajectory and continue to exceed our clients’ expectations while further promoting the benefits of the industry.”
