Oracle aquires software business Maxymiser

Oracle has announced that it signed an agreement to acquire Maxymiser, a cloud-based software that enables marketers to test, target and personalise what a customer sees on a Web page or app.

Outbrain partners with OMD

OMD has announced a partnership with Outbrain, in a move to further strengthen its content marketing expertise. Outbrain’s content marketing platform allows content marketers to promote digital content across desktop, tablet and mobile to Australian audiences directly from online publisher sites. In Australia, Outbrain partners with premium publishers such as Fairfax Media, News Corp, MI9, Yahoo!7, The Guardian, Bauer Media and many smaller sites.

Lara Sinclair leaves The Australian for start up

Online Media editor and marketing writer for The Australian Lara Sinclair has left the paper to join start up Simple as head of content.

Speculation surrounding the move had been mounting for weeks, but Sinclair confirmed rumours this morning on Twitter, noting that she had started her new role today.

Simple describes itself as providing all of a business' marketing performance data in one place.
