It's hard to keep up with all the latest moves across media, marketing and advertising, so we've made a list. Check out the biggest moves in adland this week.

REA CEO Tracey Fellows to take global News Corp role

REA Group CEO Tracey Fellows is exiting the real estate business to take on a new role with News Corp in New York. Fellows will become president of global digital real estate with News Corp as of January 2019. News Corp global CEO Robert Thomson credited Fellows with driving the rapid expansion of REA Australia and Asia. Fellows, who has been at the business for four years, will continue to serve on the REA board on behalf of News Corp. Read more here.

Leadership shakeup at Publicis Communications, Saatchi & Saatchi

Saatchi & Saatchi chief strategy officer Kate Smither has been promoted to a wider role within Publicis Communications following the win of the Campbell Arnott's account. Marcel's chief strategy officer Iona Macgregor will replace her at Saatchi & Saatchi. Smither, who joined Saatchi & Saatchi from M&C Saatchi Australia in 2016, becomes strategy integration officer for Publicis Communications and the lead strategist on the Campbell Arnott's account. Read more here.

Soap GM Rebecca Supanovich exits for client-side role

Soap general manager Rebecca Supanovich has departed the agency for a client-side role at marketing software business Lexer. Supanovich had been at Soap for eight years but left shortly after the business was absorbed into Isobar in May this year. Now director of customer success at Lexer, Supanovich was previously general manager at Soap for three years, working her way up from the group account director role. She also held roles at Razorfish, Foxtel and the ABC. Read more here.

Dan Ingall departs Cummins&Partners

Cummins&Partners has named founding partner Kirsty Muddle as the managing director of its Sydney office following the departure of Dan Ingall and an overhaul of its offering. Ingall joined the business in 2016 following the departure of Rebecca Bezzina and the loss of the Vodafone account. The move marked his return to Australia after leading the JWT Shanghai office for three years. The Sydney office of Cummins&Partners has had a number of staff shakeups in the four years since it opened its door. Read more here.

Dentsu Aegis Network global CEO Jerry Buhlmann exits

After nine years as Dentsu Aegis Network (DAN) global CEO, Jerry Buhlmann is stepping down and will be replaced by Tim Andree at the end of the year. Buhlmann was appointed CEO of the Aegis Group in 2010 and oversaw the acquisition of Japanese-owned Dentsu from 2012-2013. Based in the UK, he was previously the head of the Aegis media-buying division, Aegis Media which includes agencies such as Carat, Dentsu X and Vizeum. Dentsu president and CEO Toshihiro Yamamoto said Buhlmann led a successful period of growth for DAN. Network Ten appoints national sales director

Network Ten Sydney has announced Diane Ho as National sales director responsible for Ten’s sales and commercial activity. Ho joins Network Ten from the Seven Network where she has worked for over 14 years in various sales positions, most recently as head of digital sales. Ho started her sales career at Seven in 2004. She was appointed group sales manager in 2009 before being promoted to sydney sales manager in 2015. She took on the role as Hhad of screens in 2016 responsible for Seven’s digital platform sales and transitioned to head of digital sales in 2017. She will start at Ten in February 2019

Claudia McInerney exits WhiteGrey

WhiteGrey Melbourne managing director Claudia McInerney has resigned. She has been the MD of WhiteGrey since May 2017. Prior to that, McInerney held a number of roles at Grey Group before its merger with the White Agency last year.  McInerney will return to Sydney for "family reasons" and finishes up at the end of the year. The agency is currently looking for McInerney’s replacement.

Men's Health appoints new editor

Pacific Magazines has appointed Scott Henderson as editor and content director of Men’s Health Australia. Scott joined Pacific in 2017 as Digital Editor of Men’s Health and during this time he has successfully grown the digital audience to record levels. With an extensive digital background, his previous roles included: Co-Founder & Creative Director for Australia’s first dedicated active/swimwear brand, All I Sea, as well as several leadership roles held across health PR and Marketing agencies.

J. Walter Thompson bolsters leadership team via two new senior hires

J. Walter Thompson Melbourne has appointed Catherine Graham as director of customer experience and Brie Stewart as creative director, content. Graham joins the agency charged with integrating data and its use organically through the organisation to drive stronger outcomes for clients. She is a highly experienced CRM specialist partnering with clients such as Volvo, American Express, Pernod Ricard, Telstra, ANZ, Myer, Nestle and Mercedes Benz. In addition, Brie Stewart joins as the agency’s Creative Director, Content, to help ensure every idea developed is born out of true social insight and understanding. Stewart, describes herself as being ‘part Creative Director, part Account person and part Strategist’ was until recently the Head of Channel Transformation at Clemenger Melbourne and prior to this, she was National Head of Social at Ogilvy Australia.

Isentia builds executive team

Isentia has announced three senior appointments to its executive leadership team to accelerate product enhancement, operational efficiencies and support ongoing transformation. Paul Russell has been appointed as chief technology officer, Kelly Young as chief human resources officer and Peter McClelland as chief financial officer. Russell has spent 15 years leading technology teams and building consumer and business-facing digital products. His experience spans from small start-ups, to larger enterprises in fast-moving, high-change businesses. Most recently he was the CTO of Yahoo7, and has since joined Isentia on 7 November 2018. Young is most recently people and culture director at Bauer Media and will join Isentia on 7 January 2019. McClelland was most recently the CFO and COO at oOh! Media and will join Isentia on 18 February 2019.

Columbus hires Reprise's Rich Conway

Columbus, A Merkle Company, has appointed Reprise Digital’s Rich Conway as Group Client Partner. Conway will lead a large scale team and head up Columbus’ integrated solutions across Virgin Australia and a number of key Australian brands. With more than seven years of industry experience, Conway joins Columbus from Reprise Digital where he was Head of Market and Clients in NSW & QLD. Conway has an extensive track record in creating value for clients through performance marketing solutions.

The Brand Agency brings science to behaviour change

The Brand Agency has welcomed behavioural psychologist Dr Mark Hurlstone to its strategy and behaviour change team. Dr Hurlstone is head of The University of Western Australia’s Behavioural Economics Laboratory in the School of Psychological Science. His expertise will create a link between scientifically based psychological insights and effective communications, a first for the industry, not just in WA, but nationally.

Compare the Market Louisse Brady joins as general manager of brand

Compare the Market has appointed Louisse Brady as General Manager of Brand. Louisse joins CTM with 20 years’ experience growing brands nationally, with a particular focus on strategic transformation through the convergence of brand, marketing, sales and customer experience. Previously, she was Strategic Marketing Lead at RACQ, and is leaving Credit Union Australia to joins CTM.

72andSunny boosts team

Following the departure of director of strategy Mollie Hill, 72andSunny has announced a list of new hires. They include new executive producer Greg Fyson who has 15 years of experience in the industry, previously working at BMF and Saatchi & Saatchi. Annalise Dry was named as the new brand director and has previously worked at TBWA and Clemenger BBDO Melbourne. Joel Pearson brings more than a decade of experience to his new role as strategy director. Other appointments include Mark Carbone as Senior Writer, Alice Child as senior brand manager and Molly Mohr as brand manager.
