Allianz has quietly reintroduced its famous 'Ahh...llianz' tagline back into its ads after dropping it more than a year ago.
The new ad, featuring the old tagline, was executed by creative agency Wolfking - Allianz's third agency in two years.
It then briefly ran its “Don't just be insured. Be inspired” tagline from Cummins&Partners, which aimed to promote a more positive message for the insurer.
Speaking at the time of the rebrand, Allianz group marketing directing manager Sascha Hunt said it saw an opportunity to be different in a space that focuses on the negative consequences.
However, it's now reneged on pulling the tagline which has been spotted in the insurer's recent commericals.
The shakeup aligned with the arrival of Telstra marketer Nick Adams, who joined Allianz as chief market manager in August last year. He replaced John Myler who had been with the business for 10 years prior to his exit in 2017.
Allianz declined to comment.
