UK feminine hygiene brand Bodyform has launched a new campaign which aims to break down taboos around periods and exercise.

The ad shows women doing various sporting exercises not typically associated with women, such as BMX riding and boxing, with bleeding noses, gashed legs or scraped hands. The tagline reads ‘no blood should hold us back’.

The idea is periods shouldn't stop us from keeping fit and is part of a wider campaign, titled Red.Fit, which encourages women to become more mentally and physically motivated.
