News Limited's chief creative of News Lab, Joe Talcott, will leave the company tomorrow after seven years with the company.

Talcott is the next in what has been a long line of changes under the rule of new CEO Kim Williams.

Talcott headed up News Limited's News Lab, a “co-creation hub” for advertisers and media and creative agencies. At the time of launch in April last year, it was 100% backed by former CEO John Hartigan. The future of News Lab is now in limbo.

The news follows an announcement this morning that News Limited group marketing director Ed Smith will also step down tomorrow and move to Foxtel.

According to staff at News Limited, more changes at the headquarters are still to come.

AdNews revealed earlier today that Talcott was stepping down from his role as chairman of the Australian Association of National Advertisers (AANA).

Talcott has not yet revealed his next move.
