Foster's Group is looking to further expand its beer brands including Pure Blonde, Carlton Draught and Crown Lager into international markets.

At a luncheon at the American Chamber of Commerce on Friday to relaunch the Carlon United Brewers brand, Foster's Group chief executive John Pollaers indicated he was exploring opportunities for further international penetration of its beer brands.

Some of Foster's Group's beer brands are already available in the Middle East through a joint distribution venture, and in selected Asian markets. It also has a brewery in Fiji, which services the Pacific.

When asked if Foster's was considering the European or American markets a spokesperson for Carlton United Brewers told AdNews it was early days yet and was looking at opportunities.

Pollaers is reportedly recruiting for a head of international operations, a newly-created role.

On Friday, Foster's relaunched Carlton & United Breweries as Carlton United Brewers with a new logo and slogan, "Raised in Friendship".
