ZenithOptimedia Melbourne has beaten out three other agencies to take home the Members Own Health Funds account, with the new brand to launch a multi-million dollar campaign today.

The new business brings together a collective of 18 not-for-profit health funds in Australia to take on the bigger fish in the sector.

AdNews understands the account win will bring in between $2 million and $5 million in billings for the agency.

It beat out three other agencies during a competitive pitch held during November, with the brand launching an above-the-line push as of today.

“It’s an exciting start to 2015 and we are proud to have worked so collaboratively and effectively to give this new entity’s arrival a compelling push into the Australian market,” ZenithOptimedia Melbourne managing director Nickie Scriven said.

“Health insurance is a highly competitive category so this unified approach will give the participating health funds a stronger voice and greater cut-through in the market.”

The creative for the push was handled by The Shannon Company.
