WPP-owned PR firmed H+K Strategies moves deeper into marketing and content

Hill+Knowlton Strategies has appointed a head of content and head of consumer marketing as part of a slew of management hires as it expands its remit and client list.

The agency recently won business working with LG Electronics, Bombay Sapphire and Energi Metals.

Amelia Tipping joins as head of consumer marketing from M&C Saatchi's Bang PR. She has experience working on clients from the entertainment, telco, food and drink, retail and banking sectors.

Nick Snelling, a former journalist and film maker joins as head of content, tasked with planning content concepts for H+K's blue chip clients. Snelling has a background in music and men's publishing, and has previously led publications for the Royal Australian Navy and the G20.

The agency has also appointed Michelle Curley as head of corporate. She joins from sister WPP agency PPR and will lead the financial and professional services teams.
