The Westpac Group has promoted Jee Moon to head of multi-brand, replacing Kathy Hatzis, who jumped ship to work for ANZ in June.

Previously, Moon was in charge of branding for Westpac's retail and business banking. She now oversees branding for the entire group.

Prior to Westpac, Moon worked in sveral positions at Vodafone Australia, most recently as head of brand and consumer campaigns.

Hatzis started at ANZ in June as head of brand and sponsorship. Hatzis replaced Louise Eyres, who was promoted to group general manager.

The news comes after AdNews revealed yesterday that Westpac has dumped its creative agency The Campaign Palace. The Palace executive chairman Mark Mackay said today that the decision "came as no surprise given the bank’s recent cost cutting drive and internal restructuring of marketing responsibilities".

Westpac is currently on the hunt for a head of marketing, which is expected to lead to a review of its $31 million ad agency account once the new hire has been appointed.
