Vevo on Foxtel

Vevo has partnered with Foxtel to launch its app on Foxtel set top boxes.

The agreement provides nearly two million Foxtel customers access to hundreds of thousands of music videos through the Vevo app. This includes official releases, live performances, and originally produced content by Vevo, on demand in an ad-supported environment.

“Our partnership with Foxtel continues our wider strategy to grow both our CTV ad inventory and audience in Australia, so we are very excited to launch on the top subscription TV platform in the country,” says Vevo AUNZ managing director Steve Sos.

“Vevo reaches more than 40% of the Australian population already, and this partnership allows us to continue delivering our catalogue to even more Australians in a personalized and viewer-centric way.”

The partnership is part of Vevo’s plan to expand its TV footprint and also opens up more CTV ad inventory for brands in Australia.

“Music content and programming continues to be hugely popular with Australian audiences, and now our subscribers will be able to easily access even more of this fantastic content thanks to Vevo,” says Foxtel Group chief content and commercial officer Amanda Laing.

“Vevo will join the apps our subscribers already enjoy on Foxtel including Netflix, YouTube, ABC iView and SBS On Demand. With the integration of Vevo, Foxtel can continue to deliver our customers even more of the best global streaming apps, all in one place.”
