Val Morgan Digital (VMD) has made a string of new hires following a number of client wins.

The publisher has added eight new hires across Melbourne and Sydney since August.

Angela Law joins as branded content and shopping editor, Allison Charles as senior account manager, Sangeeta Kocharekar joins as lifestyle editor, and Alana Young as gaming producer.

Also joining the team is Kaitlan Fletcher and Katie Taylor both as agency partnerships manager, Kevin Armendariz as agency partnerships executive, and Basmah Qazi as entertainment producer.

“The calibre of the talent we’ve recruited is incredibly strong, with each new member bringing diverse knowledge and experience across TV, digital, print and radio” says VMD publisher Amanda Bardas.

“We know that the key to a thriving business is the people. These exciting new hires are exactly what we needed to continue building Val Morgan Digital and executing on our big plans for 2022.”

Since launching in 2019, VMD has increased its presence in Melbourne significantly where 20% of its editorial and commercial team is now based.

“Over the past year, the suite of Val Morgan Digital’s brands have gone through a wave of exponential growth through large scale client wins and new initiatives,” Brian Florido, VMD managing director.

“We’ve been incredibly lucky to come out of multiple waves of the pandemic expanding our business, our team, and our digital presence across the market.”
