A $30 million national campaign with practical tips on dealing with the coronavirus, from Brisbane's Carbon Creative, has launched.

Four videos, each 31 seconds in length, using animated art, have been released: Good Hygiene Starts Here; Stay Informed; Recent Traveller; Help Stop The Spread.

There are also print and radio versions.

"The campaign aims to reduce the risk to individuals and families by enabling them to make informed decisions and to take up health recommendations," says the federal Health Department.

The first video says: "We can all help to stop the spread of the coronavirus. This video details good hygiene practices that everyone can adopt."

The video transcript:

To help stop the spread of viruses
like the flu or coronavirus
good hygiene is essential.
That starts with washing your hands thoroughly
with soap and water
whenever you cough, sneeze or blow your nose,
prepare food or eat, care for someone sick,
touch your face, or use the toilet.
Remember to cough or sneeze into your arm
or a tissue. Bin the tissue and wash your hands.
Together, we can help stop the spread
and stay healthy.
