Paramount+ ads coming to Australia in June

Paramount+ will roll out ads in June in Australia, with the basic (with ads) plan available for $6.99.

After last year’s launch of the premium tier in Australia for $13.99 a month, and the standard offering already available for $9.99 a month, the ad-supported offering arrives in the same year as Paramount is unveiling tools to ensure marketers can validate and amplify the impact of connected TV (CTV) advertising within their entire marketing mix.

Paramount's president of international markets advertising sales, Lee Sears, said that by introducing the basic (with ads) plan in Canada and Australia, the broadcaster will enhance its value to its partners.

"[We will do this] by enabling advertisers to buy across our global franchises, series and films through our digital platform, EyeQ, alongside the breadth of Paramount’s premium video inventory in a comprehensive and impactful way," said Sears.

The basic (with ads) plan will roll out in April in Canada and the Premium” tier will expand to France later this month.
