Outbrain appoints Amrita de la Peña APAC MD

Outbrain has appointed Amrita de la Peña MD of APAC to lead the company' across the region, including Japan, and to drive growth and build partnerships with agencies, brand advertisers, and publishers.

With over 25 years of experience in digital marketing, media and advertising, she previously served as Sprout Social’s first GM in the region, and prior to that spent six years building Twitter’s advertising business including four years as head of global brands, JAPAC.

De la Peña's appointment comes as Outbrain expands and unifies its leadership team, including a new chief product officer, chief technology officer, and other senior leaders across the business organisation. 

Alexander Erlmeier, chief revenue officer of Outbrain, said de la Peña is a seasoned leader with a track record of success in the digital marketing and advertising space.

"We are thrilled to have her on board as we continue to innovate our solutions to better serve brands, advertisers, and publishers," said Erlmeier.

De la Peña, who will be based in Singapore, said she is excited to join Outbrain at a time when the company is poised for significant growth in the APAC region.
