OMD has promoted strategists Jacquie Pierson and Eb Yusuf to senior strategy roles at its Sydney and Melbourne offices, respectively.

Pierson and Yusuf will become directors of strategy, leading the strategic output of their respective offices and reporting into OMD national head of strategy, Paul Payne.

The strategy director role in the Sydney office is a newly-created role, while the Melbourne role was previously held by Trudi Sampola, who is moving on after six years with OMD to launch her own venture.

Pierson is 29 and has been with OMD for two years, leading strategy on the Telstra account, in addition to working across Johnson & Johnson and other clients.

Yusuf, who is 27, joined OMD as a strategist in October 2009, having previously started her OMD career at OMD's sponsorship and branded content division, Fuse, in 2008.
