It's hard to keep up with all the latest moves across media, marketing and advertising, so we've made a list. Check out some of the biggest moves this week.

M&C Saatchi lures Scott Dettrick from The Monkeys

M&C Saatchi has appointed Scott Dettrick from The Monkeys, part of Accenture Song, joint national executive creative director. He will work alongside Emma Robbins. Most recently, Scott helped close the generation gap for Australian Lamb, building on his long legacy of campaigns for the iconic brand.

Broadsheet promotes Claire Booth to national sales and partnerships director

Broadsheet has promoted Claire Booth to the national sales and partnerships director role, after previously serving as group sales and partnerships director for the Sydney, Brisbane, and Perth markets. She will lead the national sales team across Australia and is responsible for delivering incremental commercial growth for the business, launching new opportunities in the market, and developing strategic partnerships with agency partners and brands.

Resolution appoints PHD's Sarah Truong head of investment

Full-service media agency Resolution has appointed Sarah Truong head of investment. Truong joins from PHD where she was group investment director for half a decade and prior spent seven years at media agency Carat. Truong's appointment will expand on Resolution’s capabilities as a full-service media agency and support the continued growth of the digital-first agency.

Activation Union appoints Bree Mankin managing partner

Activation-led agency Activation Union has appointed Bree Mankin as managing partner, growth and client strategy. Mankin will spearhead the agency's growth initiatives and client strategy, leveraging her extensive experience and innovative approach in delivering results for clients. 

GPJ promotes Troy Graham to group creative director

Independent experience marketing agency GPJ ANZ has promoted Troy Graham to group creative director. Graham brings three decades of creative industry experience, as a published author, award-winning script writer as well as working on above-the line, digital, and through-the-line campaigns.

Yango appoints four to senior team

Independent media agency Yango has appointed several senior staffers to strengthen SEO, strategy, account management and media planning offerings. Hannah Mannion has been appointed as SEO & content director, Eb Yusuf is the head of strategy, Natalie Murray is the new head of media planning, and Natalie Clark leads account management as client solutions director.  

JP Media appoints Heath Amos CEO

JP Media has appointed Heath Amos as its new chief executive officer. He has more than 25 years experience in leadership roles in the digital, content and media production industries. While previously at Kojo, Amos helped produce ARIA-nominated DVDs for the Hilltop Hoods and You Am I, before joining Sydney based creative agency White/Grey as an executive producer.

Ex-Leo Burnett GM Kate Silver joins Neighbourhood Strategy

Kate Silver, ex-Leo Burnett Australia (Melbourne) GM, has joined newly launched consultancy Neighbourhood Strategy. Silver spent eight years at Publicis and was replaced by Julia Sheehan. Neighbourhood Strategy was founded in January by former Clemenger BBDO chief strategy officer Jacqueline Witts, the firm specialises in helping marketers and agencies solve brand problems through strategic thinking.
