Mediacom Sydney
Jerome Velasquez, digital investment director nominated digital executive Taufiq Zainal.

Jerome: Taufiq deserves to attend Brand Love Academy because… he is not only a consistent performer in our team, but also goes above and beyond his day-to-day day remit . Taufiq consistently shows an aptitude for making his personal mark on the output he produces. Participation in Brand Love Academy will add fuel to this fire. My words of wisdom to get the most out of Brand Love Academy are… take advantage of the unique opportunity to develop your ability to make a mark and to be a positive change agent to any culture you enter.

Taufiq: Three words I’d describe my current personal brand… friendly, determined and thoughtful. At Brand Love Academy I’m most looking forward to... hearing from the great lineup of industry leaders organised to speak and lead workshops. I know I’ll be leaving Brand Love Academy brimming with inspiration and armed with tips to navigate and propel my career forward.

Peter Butler, managing director nominated Keily Brown, account manager.

Peter: Keily deserves to attend Brand Love Academy because… she continues to surprise both clients and myself with her maturity, determination and knowledge. Brand Love Academy is the type of program that Keily, our agency and ultimately the industry will benefit from.

Building personal brand love is important because… it’s a door opener. In a world of conformity, embracing a self-awareness of your unique talents, core values and accomplishments will allow you to differentiate yourself from the pack. Loving your personal brand can be daunting but once you drop the idealised, perfect image you can start forging your own path, become a passionate thought leader and create authentic relationships with colleagues and clients along the way.

Keily: Three words I’d describe my current personal brand… honest, curious and determined In my future career, I’d like to be known for… the care and effort I put into my work. I want to be known for providing excellent service to my clients; work that not only I am proud of but my agency can be proud of too. It’s not about doing good work, it’s about doing great work.

Jack Elkins, interactive director nominated Matthew Evans, interactive manager.

Jack:Matt deserves to attend Brand Love Academy because… he’s a rising star with a bright future in media. Matt has quickly developed a deep knowledge of digital media, leveraging this to develop and execute some incredible work for our clients. He’s a great contributor to our team and culture, constantly putting his team first and investing in the training and development
of those he works with.

My words of wisdom to get the most out of Brand Love Academy are… to be present and soak up as much knowledge as possible. It’s not often that you get to learn from industry leaders and rub shoulders with the best upcoming talent in our industry, so make the most of it.

Matthew: In my future career, I’d like to be known for... my integrity within the industry. With the constant rate of change and pace, I want my clients, peers and partners to always know that they can trust my input and advice. My aim is to instil that confidence in everyone I work with. At Brand Love Academy I’m most looking forward to... focusing on who I am and what I
stand for. Having joined the industry three years ago, thinking about my personal brand has not been part of my day-to-day but attending Brand Love Academy will allow me to delve into this further.
