Kate McMahon will take up the sales director role at Nine Entertainment Company Perth after Reece Hogan revealed he is stepping down after 12 years in the job.

McMahon will be responsible for Nine Network and Mi9 revenue, and comes with a glowing review from national sales boss Peter Wiltshire.

“Since transferring from Sydney to Perth in February 2014 in the dual role of powered group integration manager and marketing manager, her impact on the market has been impressive to observe,” Wiltshire said.

“Kate has been pivotal in bringing the NEC approach to our agency partners and clients in Perth, and she has my total support in making the transition into this leadership role.”

Hogan meanwhile will be stepping down to pursue a new role as the owner of a Mortgage Choice franchisee.

He had overseen the transition of Nine Perth from a WIN-owned company into the national fold of the Nine Entertainment Company.

Hogan will finish with NEC on 27 February,  while McMahon will get her feet under the desk on 2 March.
