Macy’s, the US department store, has a new Christmas commercial.

And a new character called TipToe, a blue reindeer who will also appear at Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade which is returning to New York this year after being cancelled due to the pandemic.

Macy's: "This is the story of Tiptoe. A little reindeer with a big problem. She’s absolutely terrified of flying. So her friends get together and teach her a very important lesson: if you believe in yourself, there’s no telling how high you can soar."

Macy's spends about $US400 million on advertising each year.

BBDO is the creative agency of record. Publicis Groupe handles media.
