Media agency M2M International is to close its doors in New Zealand, following a string of client departures over the past 12 months.

In the past year, the agency has lost the media accounts for Reckitt Benckisser and Cadbury. The fall of the agency has been relatively swift. It opened its doors in 2009 when media agency Media Wise was integrated into Omnicom's M2M International network.

The business will officially shut up shop in New Zealand on Thursday 30 September. M2M International is part of the Omnicom network, which also has under its umbrella OMD, Total Media and Spark PhD.

M2M International general manager, Jo Reid, said: "Our top priority over the coming weeks is the smooth transition of our clients to their future media agencies, ensuring M2M's closure in New Zealand does not impact the continuity of services they recieve or their communications moving forward."
