Mindshare has snagged ZenithOptimedia's Joe Lunn to become its chief strategy officer, with the GroupM agency hoping he'll bring a touch of French panache to the office.

Lunn started his career in Australia with the Federal Government and Saatch&Saatchi, but has spent the last five and a half years in France with ZenithOptimedia.

He was the head of strategy and insight at the French office, and also headed up Zenith International France, a global strategy, digital, and communications team responsible for four of the nework's key global clients.

He also spent time in the UK with o2 Telefonica.

Lunn will report to Mindshare CEO Katie Rigg-Smith, and he started with the agency last week.
