Ideaworks wins Asics digital

SYDNEY: Footwear and clothing brand Asics has appointed IdeaWorks to handle its digital business following a competitive pitch.

Ideaworks will be tasked with developing digital activity for the Onitsuka Tiger fashion-based brand and ASICS medical websites, in addition to localisation work in New Zealand.

Asics Information Systems manager James Stone said the retail marketing specialist agency was appointed after demonstrating a strong understanding of the brand. 

Ideaworks head of digital, Aden Hepburn said: “Asics have the opportunity to dominate their category online in Australia and we are currently developing some really innovative digital work that will be released over the coming year, including new web platforms and getting right into mobile and social, among many other things.”
