GroupM's Liesa Newland goes to OMG

Annalect, OMG’s analytics, data and tech division, has hired GroupM's head of investment intelligence, Liesa Newland, for the newly created role of head of data infrastructure and integration.

The role sits within the Annalect business and operates across the entire OMG group for both Australian and New Zealand.

“It has been a pleasure to be part of the GroupM journey," she says. "I joined with (John) Steady (Steedman) at its inception and have worked alongside every CEO, CIO and CDO since.

"My experience with the leadership team has been invaluable and it has been a joy to work with the group and agency teams. But I am so privileged to take on this challenge with Omnicom Media Group and incredibly excited to collaborate with the respected leadership team, their world-class clients and data partners to expand data integration both within Omni and across the evolving architecture in Australia and New Zealand."

Newland will work alongside the agency leads and Annalect subject matter experts to deliver on the future vision and investment in this area.

Newland starts with OMG on September 1.
