Getprice seeks marketing director

SYDNEY: Independent comparison shopping website Getprice has created a marketing director role to replace marketing manager Justus Hammer, who left the company a month ago.

The marketing director will become part of the senior management team and will report to chief executive Chris Hitchen

The role will take on responsibility for the entire marketing mix, shaping the Getprice brand and product. It will also oversee the broad areas of analytics and optimisation, consumer marketing across a wide range of online and traditional media and trade marketing.

Getprice is majority-owned by News Digital Media, part of News Ltd. The website has around 3 million consumers each month.

Getprice displays up-to-date product and pricing information from more than 800 Australian retailers across 500 categories.
