Former ANZ marketing boss Emma Robinson has joined Australian online lending business Prospa as chief marketing officer.

In her new role, Robinson will have a specific focus on digital acquisition, brand building, customer engagement and retention, and designing new product innovations.

Before joining Prospa, Robinson was head of marketing for ANZ’s business and private banking division. She also previously held roles at GE Capital, for Aviva and Direct Line Group in London.

“It couldn’t be a more exciting time to step into this role at Prospa. We’re expanding our presence in New Zealand, investing in new product and service opportunities, and just surpassed $1 billion in loan originations," Robinson said.

“Prospa is a brand that truly obsesses about its small business customers and broker partners. I’m thrilled to take on this exciting challenge as we build awareness and engagement across every channel.”

Prospa provides cash flow products and services for Australian small business and has originated over $1 billion in loans to date across Australia and New Zealand.

Other financial institution, and ANZ rival, Westpac launched its a new major ad campaign this week. The new TV ad is the first to be released following the Banking Royal Commission and the subsequent release of the Hayne Report.
