Dentsu Aegis Network has won the global media account for tech company Intel following a six month review which included other major holding groups.

The pitch consolidates all of Intel’s media, including digital, social, programmatic, search, offline media, and analytics within the holding company.

To service the account, Dentsu has created a bespoke team called 'Team Intel' which will combine execs from its agency brands including Carat, Merkle and Amnet. Team Intel will be located at regional hubs in Los Angeles, London, Singapore and Beijing.

iProspect and Cardinal Path continue as incumbent Intel agencies for search and digital marketing, respectively, and Team Intel will work with regional creative partners.

Intel VP of global marketing and communication says: “Intel’s technology is at the core of the data revolution changing virtually every industry and sector. We’ve worked hard to enhance our legacy of global brand building with a world class marketing technology system that delivers relevant content throughout our customers’ journey. We needed a global partner that excelled at combining data, technology and creativity to drive business results. We found that in the Dentsu Aegis Network.”

Dentsu Aegis Network Americas CEO Nick Brien says: “The world runs on Intel. We are extremely proud and excited to have been chosen as Intel’s global media partner. We look forward to leveraging Intel’s technology on their behalf to tell stories and to create experiences that drive sales in today’s omnichannel world.”
