SYDNEY: Commonwealth Bank is continuing its "Determined to be different" campaign with the
release of TVCs that feature actual bank staff.
The first of five TVCs will roll out on FTA networks and online from Sunday 25 July, and
features Janet Hoon, a Commonwealth Bank personal relationship manager from the Chatswood
branch.
"We want people to know that we’re committed to excelling in customer service, therefore
who better to star in our new ads than those who deliver on our Customer Service Promises
each day?" Commonwealth Bank chief marketing officer, Mark Buckman, said.
The campaign, created by Goodby Silverstein and Partners, uses the same black and white
signature treatment as the TVCs (directed by Jean Pierre Jeunet) which were launched last
month.
In total, five bank employees will star in separate TVCs to be rolled out in coming
months.
Media buying is being handled by Ikon Communications.
