Clemenger BBDO Sydney has picked up creative duties for TAB, following competitive pitch.

The agency was in the pitch with two other agencies for the account, and began working with TAB across all of its communications from this month.

Clemenger BBDO Sydney Emily Perrett says: “Since the first phone call we’ve been incredibly excited about working with Claire and the team to realise the power of the TAB brand.”

The change in agency follows the appointment of Claire Murphy as CMO of Tabcorp in March this year, after the departure of Michael Smith.

Murphy says: “Clemenger BBDO demonstrated a strong strategic understanding of the business, and we look forward to partnering with them as we head towards the footy finals and Spring Racing Carnival.”

TAB previously worked with Whybin/TBWA. Tabcorp is also currently conducting a review of its media account, which has been with OMD for more than 20 years.
