Tasmanian financial group MyState Bank has appointed CHEP Media, CHE Proximity’s media offering, as its lead media agency.

The account was awarded after a competitive pitch.

“CHEP has a history of driving exceptional growth for challenger brands, making them an ideal partner to assist MyState on this journey," MyState Bank general manager digital and marketing Heather McGovern says.

"The team has a unique and innovative take on balancing effective brand building with a high-powered acquisition program that was far more advanced than anything else we’d experienced.”

CHEP's remit includes media strategy, planning and buying, alongside tech and data support.

"We are thrilled to be partnering with the wonderfully talented team at MyState Bank, who really understand media as a viable lever of business growth," CHE Proximity chief media officer Mike Deane says.

"They have built an outstanding reputation in Tasmania, and we’re excited to help them challenge the current banking landscape on the mainland.”
