Independent Bright Labs has acquired Redline Digital Media, a data-driven digital marketing agency founded in 2014 with expertise in content marketing, search engine optimisation, paid advertising, social media marketing and web development.

Commercial details haven't been released.

The Melbourne full-service digital agency has absorbed Redline Digital's client roster, including brands such as Abey Australia, Arlec and William Angliss.

Redline Digital's co-founders Damian Newton and Michelle Barnard-Marks become Bright Labs' cient solutions director and new business director.

Bright Labs founder Rishad Sukhia says the acquisition is a fantastic opportunity to enhance Bright Labs' existing offering.

"Redline has a reputation for top-tier content and digital marketing strategy locally in Australia," says Sukhia.

"It allows us to upscale our digital marketing team, take advantage of new client opportunities, and extend our campaigns and technical execution across diverse channels for our clients."

Sukhia is seeking further acquisition opportunities.

Damian Newton, Redline Digital co-founder, says there are strong parallels between both businesses, culturally and within digital marketing skill sets.

"Michelle and I have loved growing the Redline brand, and we are excited to see what this acquisition will bring to the market," he says.
