SYDNEY: Denim brand Wrangler has appointed Bashful as its creative agency across the Asia-Pacific region after the Sydney-based
agency beat out several Hong Kong agencies in a competitive pitch for the business.
Bashful is currently shooting a campaign for the iconic American heritage brand which will roll out across the region from August. Bashful has handled the Wrangler account locally since agency heads Simon Bookallil and Emil Vrisakis split from Spin Communications to form their own agency in November last year.
According to Nielsen, the company spent just $40,000 on main media advertising in Australia in the year to February 2010.
