Martech Convo Ink, a smart content marketing engine connecting brands and customers, was launched today by two friends who met while working at a media group.

The engine generates content formats that can be distributed across a network of mobile, desktop and digital out of home publishers.

Test campaigns have been run with Young Henry's, numobile, hayu and Baptist Care and the platform has been validated with the Trade Desk and Double Verify.

The startup was founded by Aaron Macarthur, a former sales lead at SCA and News Corp, and CTO Adam Crampton. They met while working at Allure Media, which later became part of Pedestrian, a Nine Entertainment division.

Partnerships with major digital, mobile and out-of-home publishing partners are expected to be annoucned shortly. Convo Ink is aimed at the content marketing, PR and media industry, bringing marketers, content writers and publishers together in a simple platform.

"We believe every brand has a story to tell and great brand stories create attention with customers and drive sales," says Macarthur, the Convo Ink CEO.

"We are excited to launch our smart content marketing engine which allows advertisers and media agencies to move into the high growthcontent marketing space with all of the speed, scale and precision provided by programmatic marketing technology.”

The Convo Ink smart content marketing engine uses drag and drop functionality, enabling marketers to create branded content formats in minutes.

The platform generates content formats that can be distributed across a network of mobile, desktop and digital out of home publishers with a level of precision and scale never before seen in the content marketing industry.

“The response from the industry has been huge," says Macarthur. "In the last six months we have raised capital and completed advertiser trials.

"We are excited to be announcing our major digital, mobile and out of home publishing partners in the coming weeks.”

For publishers Convo Ink cuts the complexity between editorial and sales teams; uses existing ad tech infrastructure to reduce the need for complex integration; while retaining editorial integrity and generating new revenue streams.
