ANZAC Day AFL match delivers over 2 million viewers to Seven

The ANZAC Day AFL showdown between Essendon and Collingwood reached 2.19 million viewers nationally across the screens of the Seven Network.

Broadcast live and free on Channel 7 and 7mate, Collingwood’s 13-point victory over Essendon peaked at 1.26 million viewers nationally and averaged 949,000 viewers, up 18% on the 2022 ANZAC Day clash and up 49% on the 2022 AFL Regular season average.

Played in front of a 95,000-strong crowd at the MCG, the game ranked as the #1 program in Melbourne in people 25 to 54 and 16 to 39. The contest helped Seven secure a daytime network share of 50.2%.
