Adelaide-based Hybrid Agency has gone into liquidation.

Liquidator Timothy Clifton of Clifton Hall says it's disappointing for a well-known independent agency to be unable to continue in the marketplace.

The operations of the business ceased immediately following Clifton's appointment on January 22.

Clifton is assessing current contracts but the company is unlikely to be in a position to finish outstanding work.

He is considering the full financial position of the company and is preparing a report to creditors.

Hybrid Agency is well known for its partnership with Cummins&Partners in the Adelaide market.

Cummins&Partners merged with the agency in 2017 to become CumminsHybrid, before selling its stake in the business a year later.

Hybrid Agency has been contacted for comment.
