Media Networks' Close to Home Media is offering 1 million x 30 second radio spots for $1 on its national local radio network.

The offer is available in March or until spots sell out in multiples of 1,000.

The offer encourages brands to not only leverage the fact that people are more likely to engage with and buy from businesses that communicate within local & regional media, but also to help put money back into local communities.

Close to Home Media CEO Gary Smith said Aussies love all things local.

"They trust local, because it’s close to their home and we help brands connect with the 15,000 local communities that make up Australia," Smith said.

"Given the tightening of marketing purse strings in 2024, we don’t think there’s been a better time for media buyers to consider effective, affordable local media."

Close to Home Media is the new name for B Radio Network, Business Plaza sport sponsorship, Tennent Sponsorship Management and the Local Radio Works online platform.

The network has more than 130 stations and 3.5 million listeners each week, 29.4% of all radio listeners listen to local radio and these listeners spend an average of 14.5 hours listening to local radio every week.
