S4 Capital's MediaMonks and Publicis have both won content production contracts with global food giant Mondelēz International which owns the former Kraft Foods brands including Cadbury.

Mondelēz reportedly spends up to $US1.2 billion a year on advertising. Last year the company consolidated its global advertising into WPP and Publicis.

Under the new deal, MediaMonks will manage global tech infrastructure, global websites and content production for North America, Latin America and AMEA (Asia, Middle-East and Africa).

Publicis will manage content production for MEU (Europe).

Mondelēz International has been re-engineering its marketing, putting a greater emphasis on digital-first approaches and creative effectiveness.

The new content model offers a more agile direction connecting the best in creativity, media and technology to rapidly design, create, and manage personalised experiences across any touchpoint throughout the customer journey.

"Our production partners will provide a simple and agile new solution that offers the best in terms of creativity, media capabilities and technology for our portfolio of global and local brands," says CMO Martin Renaud.

"We're excited to be working with them and looking forward to their contribution in accelerating our growth."
